How to determine the radius for "non-crown" applications

If you are ordering the moulding as "Radiused" (see "What is the application" for more information) it means that the moulding will need to be pre-curved during manufacturing to the approximate shape of the curve. Pre-curving to a specified radius does not add any additional cost or time to the order and ensures the best possible fit and finish.

The radius can be calculated as follows:

Half Circle Radius = 1/2 width

Quarter Circle Radius = Rise

Full Circle Radius = 1/2 Width

The radius does not have to be exact. The moulding will flex to fit as long as the calculated radius close (+- 10%). The closer the radius the better the fit.
